LUSH Cosmetics will open its third South Florida location inside the Town Center at Boca Raton on Aug. 20th.

The 911-square-foot store will showcase the brand's bath, body, hair and skin products made from fruits and vegetables and ethically sourced oils. A variety of soaps will pile high like exotic cheeses, bath bombs will be presented like round apples and face masks are served from ice-filled fridges, according to Erin Brady, a spokeswoman for the company.

The brand introduced Emotional Brilliance, a new vegan cosmetic collection in July that features translucent powers, skin tints, lipstick, bottom right, eyeliners and mascara. The collection, which is preservative free except for the mascara, runs $18.95-$22.95.

"We have been looking to expand our presence in South Florida following the success of our shops in Palm Beach Gardens and Aventura," says Mark Wolverton, President and CEO of LUSH North America in a news release. "We are very excited to offer a new location in Boca for our loyal fans and I'm happy to report that another nearby location in Miami's Dadeland Mall is scheduled to open this fall."

A grand opening date will take place in mid September. Customers can look forward to free product giveaways, complimentary in-store face treatments, free cupcakes, entertainment from local DJs and VIP gifts with the purchase of $65 or more on the day the store opens.

LUSH Cosmetics has more than 800 stores worldwide, and 110 in the U.S. The Canada-based company is against animal testing and creates handmade, and some organic skin products.

The host of America's Got Talent on NBC networks, Nick Cannon, will be in Broward County on Thursday working with the Office Depot Foundation to donate 10,000 new sackpacks to children in the Fort Lauderdale area.

The sackpacks, which are stuffed with essential school supplies, will be given away during a Back to School celebration at the Office Depot store at 6325 N. Andrews Ave., in Fort Lauderdale beginning at 10 a.m.

The event is apart of the National Backpack Program put on by the office supply chain's charitable non profit, the Office Depot Foundation. The charity helps children prepare for school by donating 400,000 sackpacks across the U.S.

"It's really great that the Office Depot Foundation is stepping up to help young kids in South Florida who are in desperate need of basic school supplies," said Nick Cannon in a news release. "This is a cause that's near and dear to my heart. I'm happy to have this opportunity to be a part of something really special – giving back to the children of this community."

During the event, associates with the brand Monster and Cannon's record label, Ncredible Entertainment, will be on site to give away items. Ncredible recording artist, 4 Count, will perform live. A full line of Monster headphones, including the Ncredible line by Nick Cannon, are available for purchase inside Office Depot stores.
