Buy any kids meal through Aug. 31, save the receipt and bring it back anytime in September to get a free kids meal. The fast-food chain is donating 100 percent of proceeds (up to $250,000) from the promotion to support Veggie U classroom gardens. | Shake Shack to open Boca Raton location Posted: 23 Aug 2012 11:25 AM PDT
Shake Shack, a chain known for its burgers and frozen custard, is opening a new location in Boca Raton later next year. The free-standing building in the University Commons shopping plaza will sell all natural burgers, flat-top dogs, frozen custard, beer, wine and more. The store is located at 1400 Glades Road across from the Florida Atlantic University campus. Shake Shack started in New York City in 2004. The chain opened its first Florida location in Miami Beach in June 2012. A second opened in Coral Gables in July. This will be the first Florida location north of Miami. "We are thrilled to be joining the vibrant scene at University Commons, and we hope this Shack will be an exciting destination for Boca locals, FAU students, and visitors alike," said Randy Garutti, Shake Shack CEO, in a news release.
