Preorder iPhone 5 at Walmart for $189.97 for Friday pickup

Want to be holding an iPhone 5 on Friday, skip the lines and save $10?

Then preorder the hot new smartphone for Friday pickup at South Florida Walmart stores. The 16GB is selling for $189.97.

Apple reportedly ran out of stock for Friday pickup in one hour.

Select stores have all models in both black and white. This is the first time Walmart has taken preorders for the popular phones.

Here's how: Use the locator to find a wireless store at the link below and then visit to make a $25 deposit. On Friday, bring your reservation card back to the store to get the goods. As a bonus, you'll also get a free VUDU $4.99 movie credit.

Call the store to confirm preorder availability before you show up.
