Winn-Dixie stores have launched a prescription-savings program for customers that offer discounts on more than 400 generic and some name-brand medications. Shoppers must enroll in the annual program and pay $5 for the service. Customers are also required to have an active Winn-Dixie reward card which will keep track of prescription benefits. Anyone can sign up for the program at their local Winn-Dixie customer service counter. Once enrolled, a $5 store coupon will be loaded to a customer's reward card. The plan offers drug prices of $4 for a 30-day supply and $10 for a 90-day supply on more than 400 kinds of generic medications, plus other ongoing promotions and specials. "Not everyone has insurance or health benefits that adequately cover prescriptions," said John Fegan, vice president of pharmacy for Winn-Dixie in a news release. "This program makes it easier for our customers to get the prescriptions they need at a great deal so they can focus on their health, not on how much it costs." Winn-Dixie pharmacies offer preventative health screenings, medical counseling, immunizations and other other services. Save at the pump this week with $10 off when you buy a $50 Publix gas card. The coupon is on the back inside page of this week's circular. Shoppers who purchase $50 in groceries are eligible to use the coupon for $10 off the purchase a $50 gas card. The printed coupon is required to receive the discount, and only one will be accepted for every $50 grocery purchase. The offer is good through Wednesday, July 25. Shoppers can view the weekly circular ad for their store here. The gas card is only valid in Miami-Dade, Broward Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, Okeechobee and Monroe counties.
