Starbucks is giving away the freebie to celebrate the one year anniversary of its Create Jobs for the USA initiative, which has raised $15 million in donations and created 5,000 jobs after funds donated from customer were distributed to community leaders in nearly all states.

Recently, Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz' foundation gave $1 million to Create Jobs for USA and is giving away the wristbands using that donation.

On July 4, Schultz gave away free coffee, wading into partisan politics on the Starbucks blog with the post ""An Open Letter: How Can America Win This Election?"

Macy's offering hot deals at midnight on Black Friday

For the second year, Macy's will open at midnight on Black Friday, offering doorbuster deals on jewelry, electronics, home goods and more on Nov. 23.

Macy's is encouraging shoppers to download its mobile app for iPhone to locate deals this year and also is offering sneak peeks on its Facebook fan page.

Here's a highlight of bargains:

Half-carat t.w. diamond studs in 14k white gold for $199

Quarter-carate t.w. diamond hoops in sterling silver for $39.99

Coffee Makers, Tea Kettles and Espresso Makers for 40 percent off

Free high-definition headphones with any $75 or more men's or women's fragrance purchase and Macy's will donate $2 to Make-A-Wish (up to $100,000).

Free sweater when you purchase jeans from American Rag for Juniors.

Macy's opened at midnight last year and decided to give customers another head-start on holiday shopping this year, according to a press release.
