Starbucks is giving away the freebie to celebrate the one year anniversary of its Create Jobs for the USA initiative, which has raised $15 million in donations and created 5,000 jobs after funds donated from customer were distributed to community leaders in nearly all states. Recently, Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz' foundation gave $1 million to Create Jobs for USA and is giving away the wristbands using that donation. Macy's is encouraging shoppers to download its mobile app for iPhone to locate deals this year and also is offering sneak peeks on its Facebook fan page.
