Bookmobile rolls into South Florida on Wednesday and Saturday

The Digital Bookmobile rolls into South Florida this week, offering hands-on instruction on how to download free e-books from the library.

Get onboard the 74-foot-long tricked-out truck and get hand-on lessons in the gadgets gallery, which features al lthe best-selling smartphones, tablets and e-readers using the Overdrive application for digital devices used by most libraries.

The Bookmobile will be at the Parkland Library, 6620 University Drive in Parkland from 1 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

and at the Southwest Regional Library at 16835 Sheridan Street, Pembroke Pines from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
