South Florida AT&T wireless customers can make $10 donations via text to nonprofit organizations aiding victims of Hurricane Sandy. Wireless customers can make up to five $10 donations to the American Red Cross (text REDCROSS to 90999) Salvation Army (text STORM to 80888) and American Humane Society (text HUMANE to 80888). AT&T will donate 100 percent of proceeds to the charities. There are no fees to make donations, which will appear on monthly bills or be deducted from prepaid wireless account balances.
